EMMARY BEARS – Terms & Conditions
1. ORDERING and PAYMENT Please Note that all orders must be pre-paid. We do not send out orders without payment.
On-line
– visit emmarybears.com and use our online catalogue to add items to your shopping cart. Complete
your purchase at the checkout where you will be asked for details to enable us to complete your order. On-line
payment can be made using Paypal, which provides a secure payment site where payment is accepted using Visa, Mastercard,
Delta, Solo and Switch. An email will be sent to confirm your order.
By Telephone – You can phone through your order on 01208 872251.
If we are not available then leave your name and number on the answer machine and we will get back to you.
Please do not leave any credit card information on the answer machine. We
accept all major credit cards including Switch and Delta.
Direct – we attend all the major Bear Fairs around the country, please phone with details
of your order which can be collected at a Bear Fair (Bear Fair venues can be viewed on the ‘Out and About’ page).
By Post – please write your name,
address, postcode, phone number and include the full description of the item(s) and quantity you require. If
you are paying by credit card please include your card number, expiry date and the 3 digit security code on the back of the
card above the signature strip. If paying by Maestro/Switch please include the issue number.
Cheques should be made payable to EMMARY BEARS and must be dated, signed and have your card details
included on the back of the cheque. Please post your order to EMMARY BEARS ‘Ridgeway’,
Bodmin Hill, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, PL22 0AJ.
E-mail
– if you prefer to e-mail your order to me please do not include any credit card information on the e-mail!!!!
If you use this method please indicate on the e-mail when and how you intend to pay, i.e. by sending a cheque, phoning

2. POST and PACKING- within the UK Delivery Charges (excluding fillers
which are charged at cost)

Delivery Charges
for filler (steel shot, glass beads, plastic pellets, polyester filler) Please contact us for a price for sending out fillers within the UK which are charged at cost – this is in
addition to the normal delivery charges if you are ordering items other than filler.
3. EXPORT ORDERS (overseas shipping) We are happy to export overseas to all destinations. Delivery will be charged
at the rates listed on the postage rates table held on the page Postage Rates. All overseas parcles will
be sent using International Signed For and additional insurance will be
required for packages with a value of over £30.00. Select the relevant country and our shopping cart will
calculate the postage.
Please note that overseas orders which include cotter pin joints over 10mm may incur an additional postage
charge due to the weight of these items.
Please contact us for a price prior to placing an order if the country you require
the order delivered too is not included on our shopping cart.
We do not include filler in kits that are sent overseas due to the weight involved.
4. TERMS & CONDITIONS Pricing –
we aim to keep our prices as low as possible for our customers. We are continually introducing new items
to our range and we reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without prior notice.
Deliveries – we aim to post out all orders
received by 3.00pm on the same day or at the latest within 48 hours of receipt, however this cannot be guaranteed.
If an item is out of stock and new deliveries are not expected with seven working days we will contact you with details
of the expected delivery date. The shopping cart system will not let you order goods that are not in stock.
Damaged or missing items
– please contact us with 48 hours if any items delivered are damaged or if an order is incomplete. If
a parcel is not delivered within 7 days of the order being placed please report this to us.
Description of goods – we aim to provide a clear and accurate description of the goods
offered for sale. If you require additional information on a product please contact me. All
goods are photographed by us and the colour representation is as accurate as we can make it. Please note
that we cannot accept responsibility for variations in colour representation on different monitors, if your monitor colour
does not match the description then please assume the description is more accurate.
Returns
- if you are not happy with the goods you have received or have a query please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
We are happy to refund or exchange goods providing that the goods are returned to us undamaged and unused (please note
that patterns are not included in this policy). Please ensure that you contact us prior to returning goods and that
you obtain the appropriate postage including insuranc if required. We cannot accept responsibility for any goods that
are lost in transit.
Safety - Emmary
Bears provides an extensive range of goods which are designed for use in the making of Collectors Bears which are not suitable
for children under the age of 14. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their Bears comply
with current requirements. The British Toy Makers Guild is able to provide further information www.toymakersguild.co.uk they also publish A Guide to Toy Safety: (Under
the EU Toy Safety Regulations) £3.00 which is very useful. Alternatively
contact your local Trading Standards Office for advice and help.
VAT
– Emmary Bears is not currently registered for VAT. Overseas orders may be subject to import and
local taxes which are the customer’s responsibility.
Credit
Card Security – when ordering on-line all credit card transactions are dealt with via Paypal, which
is a secure on line payment method. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay just follow the instructions on
screen - you can be confident that this method of payment is completely secure.
When placing an order over the phone we
do not retain any credit card information on customers once payment has been processed.
Privacy Policy – Emmary Bears does not disclose buyers information to any third parties
